An orchid society would probably want a lot of that stuff like slides, awards and papers.And unless you are an expert on stamps, you are being quite blase about them. Some of them are worth thousands of dollars each.

Let it sit for a day or two in gun oil, it will help for the stuck things.

As a fellow Brit has mentioned, we find it difficult to understand how you and other locker buyers get so excited over finding guns. Definitely one of those culture differences. What I'd like to know is how you sell them? Obviously there must be money in guns, ammo and other weapons, otherwise they wouldn't be considered such a big score, but you can't sell them through your usual routes of Whatnot, eBay or Marketplace, so how do you go about valuing and selling them? Are their specialist auctions and auction houses that handle these kinds of sales?

The Remington Nylon 66 is a classic .22 plinker from the 60s -- I had one as a kid -- practically indestructible, butt tube feed, fires .22 shorts, longs, LR rounds. You should keep this gem.

It’s a .22 stock load nylon case. Also have a couple of those. They are decent.

The old pistol can be restored if it’s worth doing.
